We were brought together with the Kosovaya family by Anfisa. We were able to book the session just in time. Julia was 9 months pregnant and past her due date, giving birth only a few days later to a beautiful, healthy, baby boy named George. It was an incredible honor to work with the Kosovaya family including full time Lana, Artem and the kids.
The Thomas family are a joy to work with. They exude southern hospitality. We had numerous setups throughout their home, every one better than the last. At the end of the session we decided we had to highlight these college bound boy’s athleticism. This last show below turned out to be their favorite of the day!
We met Anfisa while she was browsing our exhibit at The Commons. We were immediately taken with her striking beauty and adorable daughter Dominique. After talking a bit about her family we knew we had to work together. She agreed to be the subject of our next maternity shoot and it turned out perfect! We loved working with the whole family. They ordered two magnificent metal prints of their black and white images to make a distinct statement in their home.
Every year the Braverman family calls on us to create the perfect holiday card, worthy of heads of state. These guys are always off the hook! Never a dull moment with them.
Naomi collaborates with us on their shoots which always results in the most unique, creative and fun concepts. This time was no different.
We were re-acquainted with Claudine’s family at her nephew’s Bar Mitzvah. Talk about leaving a lasting impression. It was so much fun to reminisce about photographing her wedding 15 years earlier. We talked about how it would be so nice to do a mother daughter portrait session and here it is. What a pleasure it was to work with the Horowitz’s again.
The Scheinbergs are one of our favorite Santa Barbara families.
We have had the honor of creating their family portraits for the past three years and it’s always been an amazing experience.
On this occasion we had planned a beautiful outdoor shoot but mother nature had a different idea when it started to rain. We worked together and created a gorgeous setting on their balcony and inside their lovely home. The kids were such troopers through the whole thing and everything worked out perfectly.
We can’t wait to see them again next year to create yet another set of beautiful images for such an amazing family.
You can tell the holiday spirit is in full swing at the Calabasas Commons. Yesterday was the official lighting of the Menorah.It was hosted by our neighbors at the Calabasas Shul.
This beautiful Calabasas family has been commissioning portraits from us for several years now. With our guidance we were able to work together to produce exceptional photos. The children were very delightful and the parents loved the outcome of every shot, making it a tough decision to determine which ones to display in their home.
A blessing is an understatement when we begin to speak about this shoot. For the first time ever, we were granted the opportunity to photograph not only one set of beautiful fraternal twin sisters but, their older siblings who just so happen to be a fraternal set of twins themselves! How awesome is that? These portraits were taken in their beautiful home where we were able to fully direct the shoot while the parents relaxed . The Watkins were fully cooperative and even tried their hands at being photographers-in-training taking a few shots themselves of their siblings.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! At least that’s the scene right now at LA Live. As much as we love Los Angeles, a little snow, ice skating, and outdoor alpine villages are what we need to get in the real Christmas spirit.
